Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine Yarbrough have welcomed a new baby girl, Harper May Stefanovic, who was born on Friday May 1 at North Shore Private Hospital in Sydney.
The new dad checked in with Today, saying: “Harper and Jasmine are doing well and dad had a great night’s sleep. I am in awe. Harper is absolutely perfect.”
He hinted at the pregnancy in the most Karlos way possible last December, after weeks of speculation, posting a photo of his own belly to Instagram and saying “the rumours are true.”
He later confirmed the news to Kyle and Jackie O, saying that he and Jasmine were feeling “pumped” about the upcoming new addition to their family.
Jasmine shared a photo of her baby bump back in February, and Karl said at the time:
“We are really excited. Jasmine looks so beautiful and is handling pregnancy in such an incredible way. Our whole family can’t wait to meet our little princess.”
Karl Stevanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in San José del Cabo, Mexico in December of 2018.
Harper is the first child for Jasmine, and the fourth for Karl, who has two sons and a daughter with former wife Cassandra Thorburn.
Earlier this month, he expressed some sadness that his mother, who lives in Queenslad, won’t be able to meet the new baby until COVID-19 travel restrictions lift.
