Given that Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens has absolutely pulverised box office records, taking in $529m in its opening weekend and beating the previous record-holder, Jurassic Park, by a casual four mil, it would seem that yes, the franchise is well and truly alive.
In celebration of this auspicious day for nerds everywhere*, Jimmy Fallon has bestowed on us a Star Wars mash-up to the ‘tune of the Bee Gee‘s seminal classic, ‘Stayin’ Alive‘.
