Good internet content is a little thin on the ground this time of year, so bless the Howard Stern Show for sharing a throwback clip of an interview with Jennifer Lawrence, in which she copped to getting really, really high at Ellen‘s birthday and getting into a weird altercation involving a porta potty.
“I was done, and I went to go see my ride, and my ride wasn’t ready to leave yet,” the actress explained, during an appearance to promote her movie Red Sparrow. “So, I smoked a joint with some rappers … Their shit is different, so I entered a different universe.”
How different? Well, she went to the bathroom, only to find another woman waiting in line for the porta potty, and the mystery guest, maybe sensing that something was up, graciously let her cut ahead. While she was ensconced on the toilet, however, Lawrence became consumed with the thought that the unknown woman desperately needed to use the bathroom.
“I was like, ‘She’s gotta poop. This poor woman just gotta poop,’” the actress said. “So I came out, and I made a beeline for her and I went up to her and I was like, ‘Look, you gotta poop.’ And she was like, ‘No, I don’t. I don’t know why you’re saying that. I really don’t.’ She was kind of laughing but was like, ‘No.’” A security guard intervened, but before long, he was laughing also, and all told, it just sounds like a regular day in the life of Jennifer Lawrence.
The actress, last seen in Red Sparrow, will return to the X-Men franchise in next year’s Dark Phoenix, and is set to play controversial biotech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes in Adam McKay‘s Bad Blood.
