Those of you who have caught Mother! in cinemas will know that it’s a pretty intense ride. By all accounts, it looks like the cast had a similar impression.
We spoke to Jennifer Lawrence in New York, and she said her first impression of the script was “I need to get this script out of my house,” which seems entirely normal.
“It’s way too much, way too far,” she said. “But it is a masterpiece.”
