Jennifer Lawrence‘s entire schtick is saying extremely ~real~ shit/being an awkward weirdo, and while most of the time that’s extremely endearing and has made her the loveable celeb she is, sometimes it’s… well… hmmm.
J.Law spoke to The Sun about how much sex she has – which is half the weirdness here – and made some particularly interesting statements.
“I always talk like I want dick, but the truth is when I look back at my sexual past it was always with boyfriends,” she told the publication. “I talk like I like it, but I don’t really do it.”
She went on to say that a big part of the reason she’s not having much sex is bc she’s terrified of STI’s.
“I am mostly also a germophobe. I have made it this far without an STI. Dick is dangerous. If I was at the point where I could get an STI, doctors have already been involved. That is how much of a germophobe I am.”
It’s completely fine that Jen’s not that keen on casual sex, but it all comes off a little… judgy of people who do, no? Like bb, dick isn’t “dangerous” STI-wise, as long as you’re getting tested regularly and using condoms with partners who haven’t been tested etc.
She returned to her usual brand of oversharey-honesty at the end of the interview, with this little gem about her sex life.
“I am making it clear that I have not had sex in a very long time. I would like to have a relationship, you know. It is hard out there.”
