Not to alarm you but Jennifer Aniston says – she actually said it, this is not from a mysterious source or anything – the Friends cast is “working on something”. It’s not a reboot, but it’s “something”.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jen surprised huge Friends fan Charlie Puth during his interview. And where there’s an OG Friends star, there’s talk of a reboot. Always. No doubt about it.
So like many times before, Ellen asked Jen about a potential Friends reunion.
“Like, a reboot of the show? No.” Jen answered, which checks out. The cast and writers have all been adamant about there being no reboot.
“Listen we would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying – we’re really, we’re working on something.”
Something. Something.
Ellen tried to push for more deets but Jen wasn’t budging. Could it be a movie? A different series? A little Christmas special? A 25 Year Anniversary special? Who knows.

So then, Ellen asked about Jen’s first IG post – which, if you haven’t seen, is a group selfie of the OG gang.
BAM.
“We did that because we miss each other and we all happened to be in the same part of the world,” the actor explained of the pic.
Sure. Neither Charlie nor Ellen believed her either. Actually, they’re pretty convinced the IG post was the start of something big.
