Jason Biggs‘ acting career has been revitalized recently with his role as Piper’s self-absorbed jerk boyfriend Larry on Orange Is The New Black. But it’s starting to look a lot like the whole jerk thing is less acting and more just, welp, Jason being Jason.
He appeared on Joan Rivers‘ internet show this week, whereupon he was asked who he would save and who he would kill between Lindsay Lohan and Tara Reid – and why. He couldn’t really have been much more offensive:
“Lindsay Lohan stays. She’s got nice boobs. She really does. Lindsay’s got nice boobs. Tara’s body, I don’t know what’s going on with it. I don’t think she ever knows what’s going on with it.”
At that point, a decent person might have called him on this dazzling display of bullshit. Instead, Joan Rivers asked a different kind of question: “And Lindsay does?”
“Lindsay doesn’t know what’s going on with Tara’s body either,” he said. “No one knows what’s going on with Tara’s body.”
Compounding the dick move, he responded to the ensuing outcry with a series of tweets pinning the blame for his own dickness on “the tabloid media”. Because apparently if bad tabloids report on you being a piece of shit it absolves you of everything you said. Shut the fuck up, Jason Biggs:
There’s also the matter of “Sorry if I offended you” being the most apology-sounding non-apology out there AND the fact that it’s like 9 months since the last time he publicly made fun of Tara Reid (he called her a “hot mess” on an episode of Watch What Happens Live last October). We get it, dude. You have no respect for the actress whose career died after the bad movie you were both in ten years ago. Great job.
