ICYMI, Today’s Kanye Twitter Rant Was A Colossal Will Ferrell Love-Fest

On paper, Will Ferrell and Kanye West have a fair bit in common. Wait, no, seriously. Both of ’em have:

Made a living by mixing up their man-child personas with stacks of obvious creative talent;
Attracted legions of detractors while still enjoying huge mainstream success;
Established themselves as Saturday Night Live legends.

Of course, there’s also the small matter of Will and ‘Ye also appearing in each others’ work; Ferrell’s Blades of Glory was sampled for a little-known ditty called Ni**as In Paris, and a lil’ while later, Yeezy also copped some screen-time in the comedic magnum opus that was Anchorman 2.

This morning, that mutual appreciation burst forth again, as Kanye devoted his scheduled Twitter rant to Ferrell. Witness:
