I Didn’t Know How Hard I Could Click ‘Attending’ Until I Saw This Guide Dog Zoom Meeting

Every time I see guide dogs, I wish to stop everything I am doing to run over and tell them what GOOD DOGGIES they are. Unfortunately for me, they always seem to be a little busy with, you know… helping those in need in ways I could never dream of replicating.

I know I need to fuck off and let them do their job. So up until now I have only been able to wave at them from afar and send them my eternal love and appreciation through telepathy, which I suspect only works half the time.

You better be feeling this, Scruffles

But in some rare good news for 2020, to celebrate Guide Dog Day on April 29 (the best of days), Guide Dogs Australia are hosting a Zoom meeting with some very special guests. You can jump on a call with some fully-fledged guide dogs who are companions to people with blindness or impaired vision. Also joining them is a three-week-old Labrador named Zoom *cue AWWWWW*.

AWWWWW widdle Zoomy woomy!!!!!!

Guide Dogs Australia will teach you a little about the process guide dogs go through to become the GOODEST boys and girls around town. Most importantly, there will be a chance for you to turn your mic on and ask a question or finally tell them how deep your love is for them. I know I will be.

The meeting goes from 12-12:30pm and is guaranteed to be the best WFH lunch break you’ve had yet.

You can join the meeting of the year here. Or get more info here.
