Seth Rogen Takes ‘Superbad’ To Primary School With New ‘Good Boys’ Trailer

good boys trailer

Ooft, being a teenager was the pits. One of the worst things? The lead up to your first sneaky pash.

This is the premise for Seth Rogen‘s new flick Good Boys, which dropped its first official trailer this morning. Brought to you by the creative and piss-funny powerhouses behind Superbad, Pineapple Express and Sausage Party, 12-year-old Max (Room’s Jacob Tremblay) is invited to a “kissing party” – firstly, I never had that shit growing up and secondly, I’m glad I didn’t, fuck that shit right off – so, of course, he must prepare accordingly.

Max and his besties Thor (Brady Noon, HBO’s Boardwalk Empire) and Lucas (Keith L. Williams, Fox’s The Last Man On Earth) decide it’s a good idea (it’s not) to use a drone to spy on a teenage couple making out next door. You know, in the name of research.

You can watch the trailer below to get a gist of where things go south from there, but, in summary, the sixth-graders’ attempt to get the drone back leads to skipping school, getting involved with drugs (they’re bad, mmmkay?), running from the cops, frat-house paintball and so on.

The flick is coming to cinemas this year, so stay tuned for an official release date. God knows I’ll be watching and comparing my very own mediocre youf in the process.
