The Sausage King of Chicago, loveable truant and highly-quotable righteous dude, Ferris Bueller, looks to be making an appearance during this year’s Superbowl as hinted at by this 10-second teaser spot for an as yet unidentifiable product. If whoever is behind this has managed to secure the immediate bankability of the Bueller character they might as well go to town on a float and harness the meme-generating viral (in more ways than one) superpower of Charlie Sheen’s ‘Boy in Police Station’ character. That wouldn’t be a gamble at all.
Possible product endorsements for Matthew Broderick’s iconic character could be anything from window dressing to Ferrari, small-goods to Tourism Chicago, or even – if you run with the size and colour of the type used, and consider how Bueller has aged – the little blue pill.
