In the style of an all-star ‘Baby Got Back‘ montage or a super-cut of TV’s first days of school comes another reason to give thanks for the fruitful union of idle nerd hands and excellent movies on The Internet. In two and a half minutes, avid list-maker and haters gonna hater Johnathan Keogh has paid homage to IMDB’s Top 250 (or 303) movies, from The Shawshank Redemption to Edward Scissorhands. It’s a list that – depending on how many movies you watch – will either warm the popcorn of your heart or bring about some serious naval gazing concerning how you’re using your time.

In his words, “each film that makes it on the list has to have a rating of at least 8/10 on IMDB. After all this is a democracy, so each film does appear because of a substantial amount of votes. However, I couldn’t put “The Avengers” in without “Ferris Bueller”, and I wasn’t going to let “Scarface” slide if “Bringing Out The Dead” wasn’t in there too. Either way, I hope you all enjoy it.

You can all go home now. Johnathan Keogh won YouTube today.
