Love is dead once again, with the news coming overnight that Black Eyed Peas Princess Fergie and the man with a jaw that could slice through glass, Josh Duhamel, have separated.
Well this isn’t very Fergalicious at all now is it?
Confirming the sad news to People magazine, the pair reveal they are amicably parting ways after their 8-year long marriage, saying in a joint statement that they officially split earlier this year, yet waited before going public:
With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.
Fergie & Duhamel also have a four-year-old son named Axl.
The news comes only as a slight surprise to fans, who had noticed the couple’s disappearance from social media for the past few months, with them last spotted together celebrating their 8th anniversary all the way back in January:
Fergie is kicking on hard in 2017 however, recently dropping a new song and clip for ‘You Already Know It’ featuring Nicki Minaj, ahead of a new album dropping later this month.
