Fans Say You Can Spot A Classic Villain’s Noggin In Last ‘Rogue One’ Trailer

It’s essentially impossible these days for a film to be released without nearly every aspect of its existence being analysed and torn apart by the internet through forensic interrogation of its trailers – and the sheer volume of content Disney is giving us for Rogue One is making that an absolute necessity.

Star Wars fans have pointed out what they believe is incontrovertible evidence that a classic villain – who isn’t Darth Vader, mind you – will pop up in Rogue One. The evidence in question is the back of this man’s head.
That’s undeniable proof of something, surely. It’s a distinctive enough noggin that people reckon it could very be Grand Moff Tarkin, who was played by Peter Cushing in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Entertainment Weekly reckon it’s a shoe-in, and that he will be digitally recreated to appear in the film. Hopefully in a way that is way less jarring than young Jeff Bridges in that Tron sequel.
Watch the trailer again if you wanna catch the microsecond in which ‘Tarkin’ is viewable.
