Elderly Chihuahua Somehow Chews Off Its Owner’s Toes Twice In Two Years

Well, this is fucking horrible. Be warned: there is some stomach turning shit about to appear on your screen.

You ready?

Okay.

So it turns out that the father-in-law of former AFL star Campbell Brown, Tom, owns a chihuahua called Sabel.

This is Sabel:

Sabel may seem like a sweet, elderly dog – but beneath that nervous-looking exterior lies an insatiable demonic force that can only be appeased by the taste of human flesh.

Two years ago, Sabel, who sleeps on the bed like a little prince, awoke during the night possessed of an almighty hunger. So he chowed down on the nearest tasty morsel: Tom’s right big toe.

He ate the whole thing. Tom has diabetes, and thanks to the low sensitivity in his feet, he slept through the entire ordeal.

Brown told SEN Afternoons the gruesome story today:

They’ve got the cute pet chihuahua called Sabel which sleeps on the bed and a couple of years ago he [Tom] woke up and there was blood all over the bed and he didn’t know what had happened.

So he looked down and he was missing his right big toe – it was gone, completely gnawed off.

They called the ambulance, went into hospital and spent about two weeks in hospital because they needed to amputate the big toe and do skin grafts and what not.

He wasn’t happy – he suggested putting the dog down. His wife said, ‘We’ll be putting you down before we put the dog down’, so he just had to grin and bear it.

You think that’s bad? The story gets worse.

On Wednesday night, Sabel struck again, this time eating Tom’s left toe. Brown, who could not stop laughing while relaying this story on the radio, said that the flesh-eating chihuahua still isn’t going to be put down.

I think Sabel is not going to be put down because we don’t believe in that but going off to a farm, to a good home I think.

That is a legit true story.

In case you had any doubts, Brown went ahead and posted pictures of his father-in-law’s gruesome injuries on Twitter.

Fair warning: this is extremely fucking graphic.

Are you sure you want to see it?
