There are whispers that Activision/Blizzard, the company that brought us ‘Guitar Hero’ are set to produce ‘DJ Hero’, a console simulation on the subtle art of mixing bangers.
To me, there’s not much difference between the two concepts. Instead of being a voyeuristic vehicle through which talentless guitar players can simulate their wildest dreams, ‘DJ Hero’ will be a voyeuristic vehicle through which talentless DJ’s can simulate their wildest dreams. I don’t know which is worse, though a pumping DJ set in your living room witnessed only by your cat is pretty pathetic.

Doesn’t a simulated DJ game already exist though? On my Macbook there’s a game called Ableton Live but it’s not that fun and I’m not that good at it…
