Cure Ya ‘Stranger Things’ Pangs W/ A Spooky Trailer For Netflix’s ‘The OA’

Somewhere deep in Netflix‘s arcane content lab they have clearly seen the staggering binge metrics on Stranger Things and have decided that weird supernatural stuff is what really gets the blood flowing for the punters – and it looks like they’re going for another home run with The OA.

After teasing the trailer with some found-footage style clips and weird-as-hell tweets, they’ve finally dropped the full one. Have a look:

Details on what’s actually going on here are light on the ground, but it appears to be about a woman who disappeared as a girl and has returned – but claims she was always present, and remembers everything. Spooky, mysterious and supernatural, in my opinion.
Netflix describes the show as a “powerful, mind-bending tale about identity, human connection and the borders between life and death,” but they would say that, wouldn’t they?
Anyway, the trailer is pretty gorgeous-looking, so the hype train can start rolling. The show drops on December 16th.
