The dream of six seasons and a movie might be slipping away.
Today’s been a big day for new shows getting commissioned on US TV, which has led to some speculation that Community‘s final season won’t have a home on NBC. It’s speculation that Chris McKenna, the show’s writer and executive producer, has done exactly nothing to quell:
@AltNationNet @nbc @Sony @danharmon Community is dead. Pick a new show to make unthreatening threats about.

Uh oh. An hour later, he elaborated a little:
@AltNationNet @GreendaleYear4 @nbc @Sony @danharmon Rumors of its death may be exaggerated. But prepare yourself for non-exaggeration.

It’s not definitively the end of the show. He could be misinformed, or trolling, or just tired and grouchy (the tweet was posted at 12:46am), but still – you’d have to be pretty delusional to think your mates at Greendale Community College aren’t in trouble.
