In some bloody exciting news, the team behind Netflix‘s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina have announced some new names for their upcoming holiday special and season two. Part of that wonderful cast is 12-year-old McKenna Grace who is hands down, a clone of Kiernan Shipka.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale will welcome us into the Church of Night‘s annual celebration of the Winter Solstice.
Netflix describes it as a day where “families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories … [and] you never know what might come down the chimney.”
HYPE.
Grace will guest-star as a young Sabrina Spellman.
Simply incredible casting.

Take away the same hairstyle and headband and it’s still terrifyingly on point casting.
Per TheWrap, series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said Shipka hand-picked Grace for the role.
“When Kiernan heard we were doing Li’l Sabrina, she texted me a picture of her with McKenna and said, ‘You have to get Mckenna. She’s like me as a little girl and we’re dead ringers.'”
Which brings me to Instagram – particularly Shipka’s Insta where she posted a sweet photograph of herself and Grace.
DEAD RINGERS.
Despite only being 12-years-old, Grace has starred in a string of knockout series and films. Take Netflix’s Haunting of Hill House for example where she absolutely smashed it as a young Theodora.
Grace also played a young Tonya in I, Tonya. Then there are her roles in Gifted, Designated Survivor, Ready Player One, Once Upon A Time and the upcoming Captain Marvel flick.
In short, she’s talented as hell.
Anywhoo, fans could not love the casting more on Twitter.

Lucy Davis, who plays Aunt Hilda Spellman, even commented “It’s really uncanny isn’t it?” to the above tweet.

But that’s not all. Season two will welcome newcomers Alexis Denisof and Jedidiah Goodacre. Per The Hollywood Reporter, these two have landed recurring roles.
Denisof is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel alumni who will star as Adam Masters, the boyfriend of the real Mary Wardwell (Michelle Gomez). So imagine his reaction when he finds out – if he finds out – that his partner has been taken over by goddamn Madam Satan.
In the other newbie corner is Goodacre who’ll star as warlock Dorian Gray, an exclusive nightclub owner in possession of a cursed portrait.
There’s yet to be an official release date for the second season but Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale will hit the streaming giant on December 14.
Praise Satan.
