YouTuber That Basically Monetised Torturing His Kids Hit With Suspension

In recent years, YouTube have made somewhat of a statement that they won’t tolerate violence from their content creators like when Logan Paul was penalised (but not banned, unfortunately) for posting a video where he appeared to discover the body of a man who died by suicide.

Now, the video platform has taken an even bigger stand against a channel called CJ SO COOL, run by Cordero James Brady for physically and mentally abusing his children in videos.

The abusive dad’s channel is filled with vile videos where he torments his kids for entertainment with shocking footage of him feeding them laxatives, shooting off fireworks while they sleep, cutting their hair, pretending to feed them dog faeces, breaking their toys and pretending to kill them.

After years of posting these shocking vids, YouTube finally stepped in and temporarily banned his channel last week to give him a much-needed kick in the pants but to be honest, it really isn’t good enough.

He’s back up and running now and most of the offensive vids are still available except for the laxative vid which has rightfully been taken down.

According to Babe.net, the video titled Gave The Kids Laxative Prank showed him hiding Pedia-Lax in bowls of ice cream and feeding them to his kids. Brady then filmed them as the laxatives kicked in where they can be seen crying in pain. “My stomach hurts,” screams one child. “Oh my goodness, this boy’s stomach is broken!” he jokes.

They sit on the toilet crying in separate bathrooms, trying to close the door on him as he films them.

As his kids cry in pain, Brady laughs and says: “It’s a prank because they think somebody was shooting!” he tells his partner, before saying to the camera: “CJ SO COOL will always be the king of pranks!”

And it’s not just his kids who fall victim to his violent pranks, he also heavily documented his partner Royalty‘s miscarriage in a video titled We Lost Our Baby.

Brady films Royalty as she’s barely conscious after recovering from surgery.

“We prayed for the baby, we prayed for a positive outcome,” he says. “But she lost the baby and she lost the tube. So now we just want her to get well so we can go back to regular life. I’m going to be careful to make sure I get can my pull out game fixed so this won’t happen again.”

Speaking to Babe, a child abuse expert described Brady’s channel as “horrific.” Dr Kortney Peagramfounder of Bulldog Solution, an anti-child abuse organisation, said: “Harming your child on purpose with laxatives is child abuse. That’s child endangerment.”

She added: “That [Brady is] harming his children and bullying them to pull pranks on each other is really disturbing. He’s modelling inappropriate behaviour and encouraging it by laughter… He’s teaching his children that it’s OK to harm each other for a good laugh.”

YouTube, who have monetised Brady’s channel, released a statement via Babe:

“Content that endangers minors is unacceptable to us and we have strict policies prohibiting child endangerment and harmful and dangerous content. We remove content that violates our policies as soon as we’re made aware of it.”
