In this era when seemingly every other public figure is saying, doing or being accused of some awful thing or other, it’s comforting to know that we have a Chrissy Teigen in the world to balance things out a little and restore some of our faith in humanity.
In late October, the model and a posse of friends dined at an Outback Steakhouse restaurant in the US state of Ohio, and were seated in waitress Mikayla Scott‘s area. “She walked in with all her glam,” the 21-year-old told local paper the Dayton Daily News. “I was so nervous I was going to do something wrong.”
She apparently did not do anything wrong, as when it came time to settle the bill of $US 193.81, Teigen included a massive tip of $US 1000. “People kept saying ‘you are going to get a fat tip,’” Scott told the Daily News. “I was like ‘oh my god, praise the Lord.’”

In case you were wondering, Chrissy Teigen ordered a glass of pinot grigio and a crispy chicken sandwich, along with the above, extremely hectic-looking entree, which is Outback Steakhouse’s signature Bloomin’ Onion.
Teigen is a hardcore Outback Steakhouse fan, and has been known to dress her daughter in branded gear from the dubiously Australian-themed eatery, but that’s neither here nor there.

We would love to spend a few hours consuming bulk carbs, drinking pinot grigio and gossiping with Teigen, but that’s also neither here nor there.
Waitress Scott, whose husband was working in the restaurant’s kitchen on the same night, shared some of the tip with co-workers, and says she put the rest towards fixing problems with various family cars.
