Chrissy Teigen & John Legend Are Trying For A Second Baby & Why Isn’t It Us

If you have access to an Instagram account and even the slightest interest in Chrissy Teigen, then you already know that Luna – her bub with husband John Legend – is the cutest lil’ thing in existence.

Look at her.

I die.

Fans of Chrissy will also know that she conceived Luna via IVF, after struggling for several years to get pregnant.

In a new interview with InStyle, the model / chef / TV host revealed that she and John are gearing up for baby number two – and that Luna was the second embryo they had tried to conceive with.

From InStyle:

Teigen tells me she now wishes she had extracted more eggs during her round of fertility treatments a few years ago. She and Legend started with about 20 embryos, and after checking for imperfections and narrowing them down to the ones that “you know are going to be good for your body,” they were left with three. “The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna,” she says. The third is the one they will transfer to her womb in the coming months.

It’s a well-established fact that Chrissy’s second child will be a boy; along with pretty much everything else, she’s been open about that fact in the past.

In fact, the only thing Chrissy appears to have shielded from public view was her experience with postpartum depression, which she opened up about in an open letter earlier this year.

“I have really good days and really bad days, and I don’t tend to talk about the really bad days,” she says, adding that she’s prepared to go through it all again and worse for a second child. “But I would hate for people to think those days didn’t exist.”

Our fingers are crossed for another precious bub! Also sobbing, because that bub will never be us.
