Chris Hemsworth just seemingly threw shade at ex-sister-in-law Miley Cyrus and honestly, this is the tea we need to get through isolation.
The elder Hemsworth brother has remained relatively tight-lipped about his brother Liam’s breakup last year up until now, but it appears the isolation has gotten to his brain because our boy Chris is ready to spill some fucking TEA.
In an interview with news.com.au, Chris discussed how Liam has moved back to Australia, and how they successfully managed to get him the fuck out of Malibu.
“Did you see the Men’s Health cover? I thought, ‘not bad kid. Not bad,” Chris said. “He’s out there training and staying fit, and back in Australia doing his thing.”
But after commenting on his brothers certified rig, Chris proceeded to throw shade at his former home in Malibu, California, where he lived with ex-wife Miley Cyrus.
“It’s Australian living, I guess. We got him out of Malibu,” he told the outlet while promoting his new film Extraction.
Not only was Malibu his home with his The Last Song lover-turned-IRL lover, but it was also the name of her 2017 track about reuniting with Hemsworth before their final eventual split.
Ouch. The tea is scolding.
Miley and Liam split in August 2019 before finalising their divorce earlier this year. Since the split, Liam has been living in Australia, mostly at his home in Phillip Island off the coast of Victoria. However, he’s also building a house in Byron Bay, where he can presumably continue to work on his rig with fellow jacked Hemsworth brother, Chris.
Hemsworth also discussed his upcoming role in the next Thor film, which has been put on hold amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“At some point with the next Thor movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, we’re writing now and in the middle of prepping everything,” he said.
“It’s been put on hold, as you can imagine, but that will be what I’m gonna dive straight into.”
