Chance the Rapper continually seems like the sweetest human alive, and this latest has done absolutely nothing to change that.
The multi-Grammy award-winning artist, yung daddy, and recent purchaser of an entire screening of ‘Get Out‘ so teens in Chicago could see the film for free, revealed his one and only tattoo to Yahoo‘s Katie Couric.
“I’ll show it to you,” he says, sheepishly pulling up his shirt. “It’s a backwards tattoo. It says ‘get back to work’. It’s a mirror tattoo, which is a concept I created. Basically it’s a reminder that I’m not doing enough.”
Lil’ Chano says he got the tattoo on a whim when he was a 21-year-old in Germany (same) and that he now deeply regrets it (also same).
“It’s so stupid, I hate it now,” he said. “It’s like, why would I get that?”
Couric asks if he has any other tattoos, and he replies in the negative.
“I planned on living a life with no tattoos, that was just my plan since I was young,” he says. “I got my ears pierced when I was 16, and then I never really went into a tattoo slash piercing shop ever again.” (He corrects himself a split second later, remembering he got his nose pierced when he was 18.)
