Ten Revealed The 2021 Celebrity MasterChef Cast & Is That Bloody Patrick From Offspring??

Celebrity MasterChef

Channel 10 has just revealed all the very, very familiar faces slated to appear on the brand new season of Celebrity MasterChef. And not to be dramatic or anything, but I actually screamed when I saw Matt Le Nevez, AKA Patrick from Offspring.

The network announced the series late last month, and hinty-hinted that a “legendary sports person, an Aussie icon, and a famous actor” have already signed on to join the show.

Whomst, you ask? WELL, the network revealed Olympic swimmer Ian bloody Thorpe, singer Dami Im, and actor Rebecca Gibney will compete in the MasterChef kitchen.

Joining them are AFL legend Nick Riewoldt, actor/comedian Dilruk Jayasinha, fashion designer Colette Dinnigan, former Melbourne Victory player Archie ThompsonOffspring actor Matt Le Nevez (!!!!!!!!), TV presenter Chrissie Swan, and [checks notes] Tilly Ramsay, the daughter of one Gordon Ramsay.

I can’t speak for all of these people, but I know Dami likes to cook. Four days ago she shared a video to her social media channels about cooking Korean BBQ at home.

Coincidence? I think not.

Of course, beloved judges Melissa LeongAndy Allen, and Jock Zonfrillo will return to the MasterChef kitchen as well. It wouldn’t be MasterChef without them.

Celebrity MasterChef Australia is coming soon to 10 and 10play on demand. But in the meantime, MasterChef season 13 continues tonight 7.30pm on Channel 10.

This is neither here nor there, but the mental image of having Matt Le Nevez in some sort of intro sequence on Channel 10 again brings me so much joy.

So. Much. Joy.
