Caitlyn Jenner Might Be Part Of TV Show ‘Transparent’

In today’s excellent news, it appears that Caitlyn Jenner may be appearing on the TV series ‘Transparent‘, a show about the Pfefferman family and how they come to terms with their father coming out as transgender.

Caitlyn and Kim Kardashian have both said that watching the show together while Jenner was transitioning helped them as a family. Now, she might be just a part of it.

“I don’t know if she’d want to act, but we definitely want to incorporate the fact that she came out in to this season,” said executive producer Jill Soloway, who revealed Jenner had been invited to the set. “Just to have that base conversation somewhere in there, for sure.”

Soloway, who’s own father came out as trans four years ago, says that we’re experiencing a great change in societal attitudes to transgender people.

“There is a sea change happening right now, a revolution and we’re definitely in there a part of it. Sometimes I just trip on the fact that she’s the patriarch of the most famous family on the planet.”

ICYMI (and if you did, srsly how?) Caitlyn introduced herself to the world via a Vanity Fair cover on Monday, while smashing a record for the fastest person to hit a million followers on Twitter. FYI she’s now surpassed the two mill mark.

‘Transparent’ is available to stream on Stan.
