Friends on the internet, gather round, the long-standing drama between Britney Spears and her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears is heating up, and things are getting messy. Now we’ve known for a while that Jamie Lynn Spears has been inactive, passive and unsupportive of Britney during her conservatorship struggles, but now Britney has revealed that a performance made by Jamie Lynn in 2017 hurt her ‘deeply’.
This revelation came about when Britney Spears made an Instagram post yesterday that told her father and her sister to “kiss my ass, eat shit and step on legos.” Honestly, after everything she’s been through, who’s to blame her.
“No, I’m not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years, begging to put my new music in my show to MY fans… so I quit!!!” Britney Spears wrote on her Instagram.
“I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes!!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!”

Twitter has resurfaced footage of Jamie Lynn Spears performing a remixed medley of Britney songs in her sister’s honour at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.
In the video, Britney can be seen looking ‘annoyed’ and ’embarrassed while watching on in the crowd. I mean, it isn’t really reaching when Spears herself said that she wasn’t too pleased to see her sister up there.

There’s even backstage footage that has resurfaced of Britney saying that she was ‘suprised’ when she saw the performance, which kinda implies she had no idea it was gonna happen.

On a separate note, to add more fuel to the conflict between the two sisters, today, Jamie Lynn posted a pic to Instagram with the caption “may the peace of the Lord be with you and your spirit.”
She has since changed the caption to just have the emojis, because Britney appears to have taken a jab with her most recent Insta post, saying: “May the Lord wrap your mean ass up in joy today…”
Friends, if that isn’t a shady jab, I dunno what is.

Speaking in court last Wednesday, via phone, Spears said her dad should be charged with “conservatorship abuse” and wants him investigated.
“If that’s not abuse, I don’t know what is,” she said.
Britney Spears was previously represented by court-appointed lawyer Samuel D. Ingham III, who asked the court to resign him. He has now been replaced by a lawyer of Spears’ choice, Mathew Rosengart.
Rosengart has represented a slew of Hollywood A-listers, including Keanu Reeves, Steven Spielberg, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
