We are all totally devastated over the loss of two of Hollywood‘s brightest stars, Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, but no one would be feeling that grief as strongly as Billie Lourd, Fisher’s only child.
Understandably, Lourd has kept pretty quiet during this time, and has made no public statements except for a single heartbreaking post on Instagram.
Now, the 24-year-old – also an actress, currently in a lead role in Ryan Murphy‘s ‘Scream Queens‘ – has uploaded another pic which is equally as sad, choosing this time to focus on her iconic mother and how her absence is profoundly felt.
The caption accompanying the adorable picture of a young Lourd and her mum includes a quote from Fisher and her unforgettable Emoji signature that she used on social media feeds.
Goddamn, Carrie. We miss you. May The Force be with Billie through this unbearable time.
