Billie Lourd Speaks For 1st Time On The Tragic Loss Of Her Mum & Grandma

The tragic death of beloved actress Carrie Fisher was beyond heartbreaking for millions around the world, and the subsequent passing of her mother, veteran actress Debbie Reynolds, only a day later was nearly too much to bear.
However, no matter how devastated you were by either or both of these amazing women’s deaths, your emotions pale in comparison to those of Billie Lourd
Lourd is Fisher’s daughter, and therefore lost both her mother and grandmother in the space of less than 48 hours.
The 24-year-old, who is also an actress and features on ‘Scream Queens‘, has now spoken out publicly for the first time about her tragic loss in the final days of 2016.
On Instagram, the young actress wrote:
“Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist.

There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby.

Your love and support means the world to me.”
She posted the statement with an image of herself as a child, with both Fisher and Reynolds:

?????????? Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist. There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.

About a month ago, Lourd appeared on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’, and had joked that Reynolds “gets really upset when I get called ‘Carrie Fisher‘s daughter’”. She laughingly told the late night host:
“She wants people to call me ‘Debbie Reynolds’ granddaughter.’ It’s very offensive to her!

She does not like to be cut out—not at all. She started it. It’s her fault.”
Awww.
All our love to Billie Lourd at this incredibly difficult time.
