The Billie Eilish Doco Trailer Is Here & It Explains How An 18 Y.O. Took Over The Damn Planet

The trailer for the upcoming Billie Eilish documentary The World’s A Little Blurry dropped Wednesday morning, hinting at the chaos and ecstasy of becoming the biggest pop artist alive before you can even buy a beer.

Coming from The September Issue director R.J. Cutler, the trailer makes good on the film’s title: cameras flit between the teen superstar mucking around at home, chilling with her brother and producer Finneas, and casually gearing up to release the juggernaut 2019 record When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

All up, the flick promises to provide a behind-the-scenes peek at the making of Billie Eilish as we know her. Variety reports a camera crew was following the young gun during her 2019 tour, and a source claimed work on the project may have stemmed back as far as 2016.

Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry is slated for release on Apple TV+ February 26, 2021. Check out the trailer below:

The clip arrives just a little while after the latest instalment of her famous Vanity Fair interview series, the other major media project cataloguing her ascent through the music industry (and her teenage years).

“You forget like, I’m literally eighteen,” she said during that interview.

“It’s funny that I’m expected to have found myself and stick with it. I’m trying different things out.”
