If you needed another reason to love Bill Hader, well, here you go.
As was reported late last year, Hader and Parks & Recreation star Ben Schwartz were both brought in during the production of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, to help create the voice for plucky little round droid BB-8.
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the comedian explained how he came to be involved in the film, and what exactly went on in the vocal booth, as he recorded the bleeps and bloops that inspired the character’s voice.
Hader thought he was just doing a favour to his friend J.J Abrams a favour by providing some guidance for the movie, and didn’t even know he’d end up with a consultant credit in the movie until he saw it. Bless this man:
