Multi ARIA Award-winning punk-turned-pop prodigy Ben Lee has announced he’ll be joining this year’s season of The Voice Australia as the guest mentor assisting Joel Madden.
Joel reconfirmed the news via his personal blog which needless to say I totally follow, saying: “I’m so excited Ben Lee is joining me on The Voice this year. Ben has always been an artist I love and respect. His music has influenced me and I believe he’s going to be a great influence on TeamJoel. Here we go!!!
According to the Daily Telegraph the other guest mentors are Ryan Tedder, front man of OneRepublic (“It’s too late to apologi-ise”) who will be repping Delta Goodrem‘s team, Jessica Mauboy (Team Ricky Martin), and Connie Mitchell, former Sneaky Sound System front woman, lending her chops to Team Seal.
The Voice kicks off in April.
