In news that we’re hoping finds its way to the producers of Seven’s Border Security, it has been announced that the transatlantic party friends of Jersey Shore (who they first met in the second tier VIP booth of a Top 40 club in Seminyak), MTV’s Geordie Shore, will shoot its sixth season somewhere in Australia.
As lovers of reductive cultural stereotypes perpetuated by IRL binge drinking PSAs, we’re excited to find out which Aussie metropolis the cast will live, pass out and grind up on strangers in. And boy are they excited too.
“Filming down under is going to be mint,” Charlotte reckons. “Just like filming in Newcastle but with a perma-tan and a load of shrimps!”
Sophie agrees, saying. “We’re going to take Australia by storm and show all those Aussie lads and sheilas how us Geordies party!”
