From riot grrrrl ripped nighties to red carpet glamazon to under-dressed surgery victim and, most recently, fashion week front row regular, the style evolution of Courtney Love has been as unpredictable as the rogue rhetoric pouring from her mouth on a daily basis. To celebrate her sartorial transition over her years in the public eye, filmmaker Michael Mouris has made this quite fabulous animated short, “The Dark Night of the Soul”.
Apparently Mouris made the movie in just half a year on a budget of five thousand dollars, considering which the finished product is amazing. And anyone well versed in Courtney’s random exploits and zany persona will find the depiction note perfect:
