An American Teen Discovered A Dead Body While Playing Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO has inspired more than its share of cutesy news stories since it launched earlier this week, from Northern Territory police issuing Pokémon-hunting warnings, through to Woolies advising where you can and can’t catch ’em in store
Today, the augmented reality game has taken a turn for the more macabre, with reports that a teen in the U.S. state of Wyoming happened upon an actual dead body while out pointing her phone at things.
At around 8.30am 19-year-old Shayla Wiggins, from the town of Riverton, was at the Wind River, attempting to capture Pokémams from a “natural water resource”, when she found the grisly discovery.
Per a statement from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office
“The death appears to be accidental in nature and possibly that of a drowning. There is no evidence at this time that would indicate foul play. Evidence located at the scene has led investigators to believe the man went into the water at the location he was found. The body was located in about three feet of water on the east side of the Wind River Bridge.”

Hopefully, the most upsetting thing you see on Pokémon GO today is a notification saying the servers are down yet again.
