Alison Brie Is Keen To Get A ‘Community’ Movie Happening At Netflix

Community fans have long rallied around the catch phase “six seasons and a movie”, and it seems Alison Brie is pretty keen to get that fabled film happening too.

Brie portrayed Annie Edison on the beloved comedy series, whose sixth season wrapped up in 2015. There has been talk of a movie since then, but so far nothing concrete.

In a recent interview, Pop Culture asked the G.L.O.W and Mad Men actress if she’d reprise the role of Annie. “Yeah, I think I would,” she said.

She went on to say:

“I mean, look, it’s like, are we going to do the movie? I feel like if the Community movie ever gets made, it should just be made for Netflix, and it would be fun to do, but, I think it would be best if we could get everyone to do it, so I feel like that might be difficult.”

Alison Brie appeared in all six seasons of Community, the last of which appeared on Yahoo! Screen. Chevy Chase and Yvette Nicole Brown had already left the cast at that point.

Back in 2014, creator Dan Harmon said he’d consider writing a film once he’s had the time to miss the show.
