In case you somehow missed all the fuss, Bachelor bachelor Richie Strahan is Australia’s most hated man right now, with social media, regular media, Guy Sebastian and everyone else busting his balls for choosing Alex Nation over poor, long-suffering Nikki Gogan.
The three of them appeared on a very special hectic episode of The Project last night, albeit not at the same time, during which Richie defended his choice of romantic partner, and reminisced fondly about the creepy chocolate bath that temporarily sickened the nation.
The odds are currently not in Richie and Alex’s favour, with bookies taking bets on when their relationship will end, with the shortest payout suggesting it will be in less than a month.
Earlier today, amidst all this negativity, Alex made the ballsiest move she could in the circumstances, opening herself up to the wrath of Instagram commenters by taking her account off private to declare her love for Richie.
The selfie she posted shows Richie with strongly post-coital bed hair and Alex flashing an unknowable smile. In the accompanying aption, she declared her love for Richie and thanked their supporters, writing:
