Melbourne, Cheeseburger Soup Is Comin’ Whether You’re Bready Or Not

The end goal of burger evolution is to have ’em injected directly into our veins, and friends, we’re now one step closer to that noble goal.

For one day only, the brains behind Melbourne burger royalty Jimmy’s Burgers and Easey’s will be releasing cheeseburger soup through Deliveroo. Legitimately.

Jimmy Hurlston is teaming up with The Salvation Army and Deliveroo to deliver the liquefied goodness to punters in the Melbourne area, all in the name of raising funds for the Salvos community campaigns.

The madman says “we wanted to create an authentic cheeseburger taste and experimented with a french onion soup base packed with rich ground beef, Frenchy’s yellow mustard, pickles and cheese.”
Pictures of the creation definitely seem to back up his claims about the cheese.
100% of the soup’s purchase price will be donated to the Salvos as part of their ongoing Be A Souperhero campaign, which is also encouraging Aussies to replace their regularly-scheduled meals with soup and donate the proceeds.

If you’ve absolutely had it with the antiquated notion of chewing, you’ll be able to score the soup exclusively on Deliveroo on Monday July 31, between the hours of 11.30am – 2.30pm and 6pm and 8.30pm.
