Doritos Are Releasing Goddamn Crackers & Our Mouths Are Offensively Ready

Doritos crackers

Square meals are a welcome staple of existence but there’s a lot to be said for snacking. You’re not always in the mood for a fully fledged degustation – but mama, fang us something to pick at (bonus points if a bed + TV’s involved) and I’ll happily hand over my first born to demonstrate the depths of my appreciation. And as you might have gathered, it’s this lure to the dark arts of snacking that’s fueling my excitement towards the release of Doritos‘ new range of Crackers.

With the corn chip game clearly down pat, Doritos has taken it upon themselves to inject some much-needed sex appeal into the admittedly drab category of crackers.

So, what’s the 411? Each *kisses fingers* cracker is baked not fried, apparently packs quite a punch in terms of flavour, and backs it up with some mighty fine crunch appeal.

The range itself will be made up of four flavours: Cheese Supreme, Mexicana, Texan BBQ and Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream. And yes, I’ve just flooded my basement.

Emphasis on the Cheese Supreme there, folks. The OG corn chip version is the numero uno selling flavour in Australia, so I’m sure there’s a few of you stoked to hear you can get around ’em in a completely new form.

Best of all, you won’t have to wait too long to get your paws on them. All four new flavours of Doritos Crackers range will be available nationally in grocery stores as well as petrol/convenience stores from mid-April 2018.

And FYI, Doritos Crackers are a world-first for the brand, meaning us Aussies are the first to cop ’em (taste it, America).
