Speaking on comedian Marc Maron‘s WTF podcast earlier this week, Most Relatable Celebrity™ Kristen Bell openly chatted about her love of the ganja, as The Fix reports.

“I like my vape pen quite a bit. I smoke around my husband and it doesn’t seem to bother him… Weed rules. Weed is my drug of choice, for sure.”

The Good Place star admitted she partakes about once a week, “if I’m exhausted and we’re about to sit down and watch 60 Minutes, why not?”
Why not indeed?
Earlier this month, Bell posted a sweet tribute to her husband, Dax Shepard, on September 2 – his “14th year sobriety birthday“.
She writes admiringly about Shepard as a father, and as a person who “has become the fertiliser in the garden of our life, encouraging everyone to grow“.
I know how much you loved using. I know how much it got in your way. And I know, because I saw, how hard you worked to live without it.
I will forever be in awe of your dedication, and the level of fierce moral inventory you perform on yourself, like an emotional surgery, every single night.
I’m so proud that you have never been ashamed of your story, but instead shared it widely, with the hope it might inspire someone else to become the best version of themselves.
Speaking to Maron about her partner’s sobriety, Bell said: “He likes drugs and alcohol. He’s just aware that he lost his privilege with them because he can’t handle it. His brain does not have the chemistry to handle it.”
Still she says Shepard reckons “you shouldn’t leave earth without trying mushrooms or ecstasy“, and has actually volunteered to be their friends’ guide.
He wants to have everyone get an overnight babysitter that we trust, put all the kids together, then come to our house, check your keys… and then just give everybody really good ecstasy and have us all braid each other’s hair or something,
God, imagine if the paparazzi got pics of that one – it’d rule.
And, to be clear, it’d all go totally fine, so long as the couple don’t wear face masks during their journey. That shit’s chilling.
