So apparently enough time has passed that Cardi B is ready to crack jokes about her fkn INSANE brawl with Nicki Minaj at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party.
A week after taking to Instagram to post a long ass mad rant about the scrap, the rapper has shared a photo of a young girl emulating her getup at the party and poked fun at that nasty bump on the head that she copped as it was going down.
“Sooooooo buteeeeee. She forgot the knot,” Cardi captioned the pic.
Certainly singing a different tune now, isn’t she?
In the initial statement about the incident, Cardi wrote:
I’ve let a lot of shit slide. I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop fuckin with them!! I let you talk big shit about me!! I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!!
But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are fuckin off!! I’ve worked too hard and come too far to let anybody fuck with my success!!! Bitches talk all that shit in they raps but in real life they pussy!! That shit really is for entertainment.”
Meanwhile Minaj described the incident as “mortifying” and “humiliating” in a recent episode of her Beats 1show Queen Radio.
“Let me just say this,” she began and here we fkn go. “The other night, I was a part of something so mortifying and humiliating to go through in front of the upper echelon … people who have their lives together. The way they passed by looking at this disgusting commotion I will never forget. I was mortified. I could not believe how humiliating it all felt … how we made ourselves look.”
She went on to deny the allegations made by the 25-year-old that she insulted her parenting or her bb, Kulture.
“I wanna say that I would never discuss anyone’s child … I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. It’s so crazy to me that people always need to make [me] the bad guy. When you have to say that I said or did something that I never said or did … I am not a clown. That’s clown shit.”
Minaj believes that Cardi needs help based on her behaviour at the high end fashion event.
“Get this woman some help,” she insists. “This woman is at the best stage of her career, and she’s out here throwing bottles and throwing shoes? Get this woman an intervention!”
Can’t say I totally disagree with that last notion.
