The royal wedding is done and dusted, but if you thought that meant we were going to stop writing about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, I’m sorry dear reader but you were sorely mistaken. I’m literally never going to stop writing about them, even when I’m old and withered and can barely string a sentence together anymore. I just love them THAT much.
Earlier today (UK time), the brand-new Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out for their first appearance as a married couple, just 3 days after their showstopper of a wedding.

They attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace event in honour of Prince Charles‘ upcoming 70th birthday – which isn’t until November, but when you’re the heir to the throne you can celebrate all fkn year and no one can stop you – which paid tribute to Charles’ various charities and patronages.

Style-wise, Meghan knocked it out of the park in a Philip Treacy hat and a blush pink frock by UK label Goat, who confirmed to ELLE that their website crashed shortly after the pics were released. (The label said it was a custom piece, so no one can buy it anyway.)
The Duchess hung out with her father-in-law Charles and his wife Camilla at the event, having a bit of a giggle when a bee buzzed around her husband as he attempted to make a speech.
