Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s third child is due in a matter of weeks, but we may yet have another royal baby in the mix at some point soon, with Meghan Markle joking about the possibility of popping out a blessed infant of her own.
This week, Meghan and fiance Prince Harry were in Ireland conducting a royal meet-and-greet with a group of young entrepreneurs and innovators when they were introduced to a couple who make high-tech baby products.
The products on display included a baby bath, changing mat and a Moses basket. According to onlookers, Markle called them “very sweet”, then pointing in the direction of a pile of baby gear, said “I’m sure at some point we’ll need the whole thing.”
Prince Harry and Ms. Markle then visited the Belfast campus of Northern Ireland’s next generation science park, @CatalystIncHQ, to meet some of Northern Ireland’s brightest young entrepreneurs and innovators. pic.twitter.com/OUgBw4FUDE

While it’s entirely unfair for Meghan Markle to toy with our emotions like this and tease us with the possibility of a new royal infant, but I guess we’ll forgive her, especially since we currently have her May 19 wedding at Windsor Castle to look forward to.
Speaking of that joyous event, invitations went out this week, with 600 guests set to attend the wedding and lunchtime reception, and a more select group of 200 also scoring invites to an after-party thrown by Prince Charles at Frogmore House.
The guest list hasn’t been revealed, but you can bet those 200 are probably feeling extremely bloody smug at this point in time.
