There Are Parking Restrictions Outside Kate’s Hospital AKA Royal Baby Soon

Temporary parking restriction signs have magically appeared outside St. Mary’s Hospital where Kate Middleton will bless the world with another royal baby. Kate is due to give birth later this month but with the signs already up, a media scrum is on its way.

Obviously people are very excited about this. People love the royals, people love babies – people will lose it over royal babies.

People Magazine are all over this with their foreign correspondent Simon Perry taking to his Twitter with the below.

Squint and you can make out how the sign says parking has been suspended in this entire area for the duration between the 9 to the 30 April… for an “event”.

This isn’t just one or two parking spaces either, the sign has called dibs on all 29 spots equalling the entirety of South Wharf Road. God, I wonder what “event” could take up that much space?

Just like with Prince George in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015, the same parking signs appeared but stayed there for more than two weeks before Kate gave birth. And unlike George but like Charlotte, the media will not be allowed anywhere near the hospital wing until Kensington Palace informs us mere peasants.

But never fear because you don’t need a press pass or a fancy email to get the official word, everything’s going to be announced via Kensington Palace’s official twitter so time to turn post notifications on.

Happy Royal Baby watching.
