Cards on the table here guys, I really don’t get the fascination with babies – if you’ve seen one, you’ve pretty much seen ’em all. (Unless you’re one of my friends or family and you happen to be reading this, because your baby/babies are special and amazing, obviously). That said, a lot of people do seem to like looking at pictures of infants, so if that’s your thing, then please go ahead and check out these photos of gilded child Prince Louis, which were shared today by Kensington Palace.

Check him out guys, here’s the future whatever-he-is in line to the throne of England being cuddled by his sister Princess Charlotte. “The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday,” they wrote.
This photo was taken on May 2, which is Charlotte’s birthday, while Lil’ Louis was born on April 23, which is a solid week and a bit before. We hope William and Kate don’t pull some cheapskate manoeuvre and make them have joint birthday parties or something.

The second photo was taken on April 26, just three days after his birth, and yeah, this little guy is clearly well-versed in the art of gazing into the middle distance while pondering the fabulous wealth he will one day inherit.
