‘Stranger Things’ Star David Harbour Is Convinced That Joe Keery Is His Son

I assume you are all aware of the wild Stranger Things / Parks and Recreation theory that claims Steve Harrington (Stranger Things) is the father of Jean-Ralphio Saperstein (Parks and Rec), correct?

Well, this bizarre family tree just grew a little bit: Stranger Things star David Harbour is absolutely convinced that Steve is the large, almost adult son of his character Jim Hopper.

At least, we think that’s what he’s saying. He could also be alleging that actor Joe Keery, who plays Steve, is his large adult son in real life.

Honestly, we’re not sure, but he keeps posting photos that prove there is a remarkable likeness between the two of them.

It’s uncanny.

Of course, this would mean the two are related to the original owner of utterly fabulous hair, Patrick Swayze, may he rest in peace.

He’s also using the hashtags #stopper and #hopeve, which kind of implies this is a big internet conspiracy except that it looks like literally 10 other people in the world have ever used these hashtags, and they had nothing to do with Stranger Things.

Still. Hello, Daddy.

Could Stranger Things 3 explore a potential, familial relationship between Steve and Hopper? Is Hopper his real dad? Is Steve going to start a babysitting business? SO MANY QUESTIONS, so little time long to wait.

Regardless, this feels like the opportune time to let you know that Joe Keery has been posting behind-the-scenes pics of Stranger Things 2 on his Instagram (@uncle_jezzy), and it includes this absolutely mint shot of Harbour giving the bird.

This pic will bring you good fortune in all your endeavours, but only if you say ‘uncle jezzy’ three times.
