In the lead up to September’s federal election, the opposition has launched a new campaign “The Headless Chooks” which uses animation and choice soundbites from various Labor Party members to identify the foibles and worse of the current government.
If you nail a good screenshot the clip is mildly amusing, but ultimately it’s another example of the ad hominem attack approach in favour of thoughtful policy analysis or intelligent debate that has sadly become customary in Australian political campaigning. Swing voters looking for something from the coalition that appeals to logic or intellect won’t find anything here.
