Just days after a flaccid Good Weekend cover story criticized the lack of thought/etiquette shown by celebrity tweeters such as Shane Warne and Stephanie Rice, Talkin’ Bout Your Generation regular Josh Thomas has engaged in a pseduo Twitter feud with MTV VJ Ruby Rose. In a drunken outburst Sunday night, Thomas called Rose “a cunt” and “a loser” after a mix up at a strip club left him with an unpaid drinks bill of $610. He thought they were comped but they weren’t, obvs. The fallout goes something like this: initial misunderstanding, perceived wrongdoing, drunken outburst, completely acceptable explanation and sheepish backpedal…always with the sheepish back pedal. To Twitter!

Full tweet reads: “@tabloidterror – I would never ever do that hun. I pay for everyone always. There were 6 or 7 of us there. This is crazy he’s supposed to be my friend! I’ve told him ill pay it if he gives me his bank details we were told it was ‘on the house’.”
Somewhere inbetween Rose tweeted then deleted the following…
“@joshthomas87 Jesus! they said (the establishment) drinks were on them! Call me next time tripper and I’ll transfer the money. U have my phone #”
“Fyi I didnt run out on a bill last night. I always pay for everyone! We (6 people) shared 2 bottles of verve (sic). Which I was told were free.”
“@joshthomas87 so i get you and your 3 friends in for free instead of 30 each. We have a great night, we drink TWO bottle champs and you tweet i’m a (expletive)?!? As if id ever skip a bill man. Send me ur bank details STAT and then delete my number and leave me alone I thought we were mates.”
