Last night’s Hungry Beast tackled the many permutations of waste with stories on wasted food, squandered cash, the dirtiest job in the world, the efficiency of Australia’s sewage system and the sordid world of celebrity trash picking. Apparently freaks people are willing to pay exorbitant amounts of cash for the shit celebrities throw away! Who knew? Marc Fennell and Monique Schafter investigate by nicking random trash items from David Koch, Julia Stone, Ruby Rose, Josh Thomas and Bob Katter, then measuring their celebrity by how much those items fetched on eBay. Despite the fact that someone would pay $200 for Bob Katter’s empty bullet cartridges, we’re more concerned by the fact that Kochie keeps a portrait of himself hanging beside his desk.
