Almost two weeks on, the aftershocks from the Justin Bieber dick pics are still being felt, with the singer finally coming out and addressing his dad’s reaction to his dong, which is a thing that no adult man should ever have to do, and yet here we are.
Shortly after the New York Daily News published censored paparazzi shots of a naked Bieber on holiday in Bora Bora, his full regalia showed up online, leading his dad, Jeremy Bieber, to comment on its proportions:
Earlier this week, while a guest on the radio show Zach Sang & The Gang, the singer said that, far from being grossed out, he thought that Bieber Senior’s response was “hilarious”:
“It’s such a dad thing to say. When I found out people were hating on him for saying that, I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ What dad wouldn’t be proud of that? It’s not like he’s saying it to an 11-year-old. I’m 21 years old.”
As for the pictures themselves, Beiber admitted that, while he doesn’t necessarily hate them, he says that if paparazzi could just go ahead and stop invading his privacy, that’d be great:
“At the end of the day, the photos, they’re not terrible. I still felt like I wanted to keep that part for me, you know? I felt like it was a little bit of an invasion of privacy. And when I first found out about it … my heart sank.”
